( I think it means : Excuse me teacher can you repeat the question? )

Teacher: *Pauses for a few seconds*
Hao… Ni ren wei… *repeats the questions*

ME: *Stares at the teacher*
Erhh wo ren wei Xian zai de ren tou hen you shan xing blah blah blaahhhhh..
( I think it means: I feel that people now are very generous these days. )
*finishes sentence and stares at the teacher invigilating*

The teacher on the RIGHT was LOOKING up at the CEILING and FOLDING and UNFOLDING her ARMS while I was talking.!!

( I think it means: Do you think Singaporeans are a generous bunch of people? )

ME: *stares blankly for a while*
Erhh wo ren wei xin jia po ren hen shan xin ying wei dan na ge 2005 hai xiao de shi hou, xin jia po ren dou juan le hen duo qian gei na xie yi ni ren.
( I think it means: I feel that Singaporeans are very generous as when the 2005 tsunami struck, many people donated money to help those Indonesian victims. )
